The club meets at 7:30 pm on the second Tuesday of each month at Hickory Hollow
located at 101 Heights Blvd in Houston.

2010 TEXAS AMC Lone Star Regional
It's official!! Mark your calendars for October 16th, and help get the word out. You have just under 50 days until the Texas AMC Lone Star Regional show in West, TX. This will be the 3rd regional in West; and those who have attended previously know it is a low key, fun affair. Although the ground work has been started, there is still much to do. We're always looking for sponsors, door prizes, and any suggestions to improve the show. We will work to have the show flyer out in the next week or so.
One important note; rooms are at a premium at the Czech Inn (currently we only have a block of 10 rooms for October 15 and 16) at the AMC show rate of $79 per night. If you're interested in reserving a room early, call now (254) 826-0901.www.czechinnofwest.com
The planned times for the show are 0800-1400, followed by a break, and the banquet/awards dinner at 1600 at the Nor Sausage and Burger House. For those who attended the 1st West event, this eatery is just across the tracks from the hotel, and will be on the upper floor -- a much better setup than at the steak house next to the Czech Inn. We will not pre sell tickets for the dinner, but they have homemade sausage, and according to the bank president, their steaks are superb.As before, no formal judging; just a few plaques for long distance, under construction, participants choice, and West choice are currently planned. So, time to get the AMC in shape and plan to meet in West on 15/16 Oct.
